Notes for JOHN Summers:
John was named in the "Summers Family Ledger" as a son of George, but I am unsure where he fi ts, because in "Annals of Platte Co MO", pg 248-50, his father lived to 114, and he had a bro ther named Samuel. He was a Rev. War Soldier- listed his children in his pension application . He enlisted March 1781 in Frederick Co VA to serve in teh War. Moved from Fairfax Co VA t o KY in 1789. Lived in Bourbon, Montgomery, Jessamine and Fleming Counties. Moved to Platt e Co MO after 1820 (or his children did??).
